PLEASE NOTE
The chemicals used in fragrances and scented products can cause some individuals to have adverse health effects. We request that all participants avoid wearing fragrances/scented products for the health and well-being of others.
Accommodations by Request
Accommodations are available by request. Please enter the details of your accommodation needs in the designated space found in your registration form. If you did not fill out that section in your form when registering, please submit requests to csrf.ed@gmail.com. Please be aware of time constraints and submit requests as soon as possible. Dietary requests require at least one week notice prior to event to ensure that we are able to fully meet your nutritional needs. For accommodation requests via email please indicate “Request for Accommodation” in the subject line.
Relaxation Room
A quiet, low sensory room will be available at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Waterloo. Our Executive Director, Gillian, will show you to this space upon request. Please refrain from conversations and turn off all sounds on phones/devices in designated quiet spaces.
Earplugs will also be available for attendees to use when needed.
Support Persons
Support persons are not required to register or pay for the conference if they are travelling with an attendee. Support persons will only be able to enter the conference with a registered attendee present.
Service Animals
Service animals are very welcome at this event and we seek to support any related needs. Attendees please note that service animals are working animals, so one should not pet or distract them.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Waterloo: Grassy area on Erb Street W at the front entrance of the hotel.
Waterloo Park: 9-minute walk (700 m) from the hotel. Head southeast toward Erb Street W. Turn left onto Erb Street W. Turn left onto Father David Bauer Drive. Turn right, park will be on the left.
Accessible Parking
There is accessible on-site parking at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Waterloo. Van accessible on-site parking is available. Valet parking is available for vehicles outfitted for drivers in wheelchairs. Drive the vehicle up to the front entrance and hotel attendants will park your vehicle for you.

Bus
The local bus system is an accessible transportation option. All of Grand River Transit’s buses are accessible, low-floor buses. The buses also have a ramp so passengers with mobility devices can board the bus on a gentle incline. For accessibility information please click the following link.

Building Entrance
Delta Hotels by Marriott Waterloo: The front entrance door is wheelchair accessible. The doors open automatically. Entrances to the meeting spaces, on-site pool, on-site business center, on-site fitness center, and on-site restaurants are wheelchair accessible.
Elevators
Delta Hotels by Marriott Waterloo: All elevators include braille descriptions and auditory alerts.
Washrooms
Delta Hotels by Marriott Waterloo: All washrooms in close proximity to the event are wheelchair accessible. One private washroom is available that is wheelchair accessible/gender inclusive. The doors are not automatic. Conference representatives can assist with the door if needed.
Hotel Accessibility
Delta Hotels by Marriott Waterloo: Fully accessible guest rooms are available. These guest rooms have washrooms large enough to accommodate a wheelchair with roll in showers, accessible vanities, and they have grab bars around lowered toilets and in bathing areas. Hearing accessible rooms and/or kits are available.
