CSRF Annual Meeting 2025

What is included in your registration fee?

  • Three days of sex research and scholarship across disciplines

  • Two poster sessions and opening reception (Thursday); a cash bar will be available during the poster sessions

  • Breakfast and coffee breaks on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

  • A student-faculty mentorship session on Friday (lunch provided) for those who sign up

  • Three excellent plenary speakers including our Early Career Award winner

  • CSRF awards for service, contributions, and excellence in research presentation

Registration Details

  • If you are presenting at CSRF this year, you must register by August 31st 2025.

  • For all attendees, please register as soon as possible. Attendees who register later (September 1st to October 1st) will be charged the late registration cost (15% higher). All registrations must be complete by October 1st.

  • Registration categories are based on membership status (student, affiliate, full and member versus student, affiliate, full non-member).

This year the conference will be held at the beautiful The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver, located in the heart of downtown.

Social Event: Drag Bingo at The Birdhouse (additional fee of $25)

This year, CSRF’s After Dark/Social event is Drag Bingo at The Birdhouse, a vibrant space known for centering queer, non-binary, and trans folks. Join us Thursday night at 8 pm for an unforgettable evening of lively bingo, dazzling drag performances, and joyful connection with your CSRF community. The Birdhouse is celebrated for its welcoming, intersectional vibe and fun-loving atmosphere—this is more than just bingo; it’s a celebration of queer joy and visibility. Drag Bingo is sure to be a highlight of your CSRF experience!

The cost of this event is $25 per person (in addition to the registration fee). If you would like to attend, add this to your cart with your registration. Space at the venue is limited so book your tickets right away to guarantee a spot.

Student Social Event

This year's student social will take place on Friday, October 24th from 8:00-10:00pm at SWITCH Karaoke Bar (1339 Robson St, Vancouver, BC V6E 2B1– 8 min walk from the conference venue!). All student attendees are welcome! This social event will be an opportunity to network with fellow students, as well as get to know your student representative candidates! Food and Drink will be available for purchase.

BIPOC Welcome Reception

This year, CSRF's Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) committee will be hosting a BIPOC welcome reception on the first night of the conference (Thursday, October, 23rd) from 5:30-6:30 for BIPOC conference attendees.

Appetizers and one drink ticket will be provided (good for 1 alcoholic beverage/mocktail), and a cash bar (with bottomless non-alcoholic drinks; mocktails not included) will be available. This will be an excellent opportunity for networking and building community with the CSRF BIPOC community.

The event is FREE for student attendees and $10.00 for non-student attendees. If you are a non-student who wishes to attend, please add this to your cart and pay for it along with registration.
